This
record was a we bit stressful in the way that I had joined the
project about three weeks before we had to do the record; they
were working with ZACK STAR RINGO STARS son, now playing
with the WHO. And the record company was not exactly sure who
should be playing drums. So I had a lot of responsibility added
to the fact that I was working with PAUL ROTHCHILDS producer
for the bands DOORS, JANAS JOPLIN, OUTLAWS, and BONNIE RAITT,
and on the first day he pulls out a metronome to check my timing,
so the pressure was on. Thank GOD that our chemistry was and
professionalism took hold, it seemed like everything just came
together. I also had the opportunity to work with some of the
finest musicians in the world every single guy in that band
has a history that any person would be proud of. MARK ASHTON
played drums in the band RARE BIRDS and co wrote one of their
hit songs Sympathy. GUY BABYLON has been playing for ELTON JOHN
for about fifteen years, and BOB BIRCH (sugar fingers) has also
been in ELTONS band for about ten years. MANDY MAYER played
for AISA and KROKUS. And MARK ADAMS played for JOHN ENTWISTLE.
These guys have also played for countless others. I would like
to acknowledge that JOE LALA a true master of his art plays
percussion on caught up on Love Street one of the singles released
by RCA.
